Dear Hiring Manager (or Mr./Ms. ),

Paragraph 1 (intro):
Begin with expressing interest in the job and the reason you want to work for the organization. (Do a little research if you are not entirely familiar with the company.)

Paragraph 2:
Provide a statement about how your field/work experience and skills meet the job requirements and include a summary of responsibilities or duties you’ve managed in the past that specifically match those included in the job requisition. Display the summary as a bulleted list.

Paragraph 3 (closing):
Address additional qualifications that the job requires; qualifications such as excellent written, organizational and presentation skills, ability to be a collaborative team player, proven experience in optimizing accounting & finance processes, and outstanding analytical and decision making skills. Add a statement that you look forward to the opportunity to meet and discuss your background and knowledge, and how they benefit the job. End with your contact information.
